Where do you cover?
I am based in East Sussex, and cover Sussex & Kent. I do very often travel further afield however this will include a small travel fee and potentially an accommodation fee. I am more than happy to travel further if travelling expenses are met by the client, please do get in touch for more information or for an idea on price.
How can I make a booking and payment?
The first step is to check availability for your wedding day. This can be done getting in touch and asking the question, feel free to visit my contact page. If I am available you will receive a written quotation relating to the services you require assuming that the date is free. If you click to accept the quotation you will receive an invoice for the deposit amount (£100.00) and shortly after a contract to sign online. Once your reservation fee is received you will receive an email confirming the booking. Payments are to be received by bank transfer. In exceptional circumstances I will accept Paypal or Credit Card only by prior agreement and if agreed before paying your deposit.
When do we discuss the details of the wedding or event photography?
I like to discuss your wedding around 1-2 months prior to your wedding day, as by then most of the plans are set. However happy to discuss anytime leading up to your wedding. I do ask for you to complete a wedding questionnaire prior to our call, and I will normally book in your video meeting once this is received. I aim to always make contact 1-2 months prior to your day if not sooner.
How many images will I receive?
The Classic Package - 150 photographs +
The Dream Package - 350 photographs +
The Fairytale Package - 650 photographs +
All images are fully edited and in high resolution without watermarks. Please note this is an estimated amount and may differ depending on your day, everyone's day is different.
What happens if its raining?
Don’t worry! Every venue has options for great photography come rain or shine. I have a large white umbrella and can cope with every situation and we can discuss a backup plans during the video call meeting if this is a concern.
What if I want you to stay longer than the agreed time on the day?
If you feel that you would like more of the late evening covered, additional attendance can be booked on an hourly basis or package deal basis, just get in touch.
Are you insured?
Yes, I have public liability, professional indemnity and photographic equipment insurance.
Who owns the images you produce?
Technically the copyright stays with Harriet Turtle Photography however you are free to issue them to family and friends if they are not sold.
Do you work alone?
Yes I do, but I shoot with 3 cameras on me at all times. If you feel the need for a second photographer, for any reason, this can be arranged for an additional fee. I can also quote for a content creator and for drone footage if this is of interest to you as an add on only to your photography package. These options would include a second shooter.
What happens if we change our wedding or event date?
If the new date is available you will not incur any costs and we can simply swap your booked date.
Are your prices negotiable?
My package prices are not negotiable, however we can always tailor a package to meet your requirements just get in touch and we can discuss.
How and when do I get my images after the event?
All gallery's are provided through a bespoke password protected online gallery which will allow you to view, share and / or download all of the high-res images. This is usually around 6-8 weeks after the event but can be extended slightly during busy periods.
Canvas prints are avaliable to order via your online gallery and they will be dispatched straight to your door. If you have selected the Fairytale package you can choose your chosen image for the canvas, and I shall arrange this directly with you. Depending on which package you have selected I also supply your images to you on a high quality USB memory stick which is also posted directly to you.
What happens if you are ill on the special day?
I will always attend, unless its very serious. I am also able to call on other photographers in the event of such an emergency.
